Atlas Design System
One source of truth for color, type, and components — so every team ships a consistent product.
Key facts
- A token-driven component library adopted across 4 product teams
- Cut new-feature design time by roughly 40%
- Documented, versioned, and shipped as an installable package
01 The Problem
Each team was rebuilding the same buttons, inputs, and modals slightly differently. The product felt inconsistent, and small visual fixes had to be made in a dozen places.

02 What I Built
Tokens first
Color, spacing, and typography became named tokens, so a single change propagates everywhere.
A documented kit
Every component shipped with usage guidelines and accessible defaults:
- Keyboard and screen-reader support baked in
- Light and dark themes from the same tokens
- A live playground so engineers could copy working code
03 The Outcome
Teams stopped reinventing the basics and spent their time on the parts that were actually unique to their feature.
